The collaboration between Autaar (Mark Lindhout) and 404 (Joost van Ophem) came into existence during the spring of 2021. An accidental email snowballed into a thunderous avalanche of drone.
The album “In De Kiem Gesmoord” is a reflection of working as an artist during the pandemic and its accompanying limitations. A view into the tiny upstairs window of our souls — behind which we’re slowly losing it.
We have created an Online Addendum for this album, in which we provide insights into the creative process. As each of us adds thoughts, internal dialog, and prose, we enrich the listening experience for the reader.
